How to set up a broadband dial-up connection for your computer:
To achieve broadband access, you need to apply for an account and password to the telecommunications department. 1. Open "Network Properties"
Right-click My Network Places on the desktop, and then select Properties on the right-click menu to open the Network Connections window. Right-click the Local Area Connection icon, and then select the Properties option on the right mouse menu.
2. Display icon
In the Local Area Connection Properties window, check "show icons in notification areas after connection". This can be in the notification area directly to see its connection state, only when it is connected to normal, you can dial to the broadband network, hit the hook, click the "OK" button to close the window.
3. Icon appears

4. Create a new connection
Go back to the Network Connections window, and click Create a new connection under the Network Tasks bar in the left pane.
5 Open the New Connection Wizard
In the New Connection Wizard window, click the Next button.
6. Select "Connection Properties"
After you select the first item in the Network Connection type window to connect to the Internet, click Next.
7 Select "Connection Mode"
Select the second item in the window shown in the following illustration--"Set my connection manually", and then click the Next button when you have selected.
8. Select "Broadband Type"
In the Internet Connections window, select the second item-"Connect with a broadband connection that requires a username and password" and click Next to continue.
9. Enter the name of the ISP
Give the broadband connection a name in the text box under ISP name, and then click the Next button.
10 Enter account information
Fill in the corresponding column with the account name and password provided to you by your ISP. Then select the 3 options below the window-if you only want to use this account and password on this computer to get online, cancel the first item; If you do not want it to be the default connection mode, cancel the second item; the third proposal should not be cancelled, Because it will open a network firewall for you. Select OK and then click Next.
11 Complete Setup
The Dial-up connection setting was successful. Also, check "add a shortcut to this connection on my desktop" and let it add a shortcut icon to your desktop so that you can double-click the connection directly from the desktop when you want to surf the Internet. Click the "Finish" button to close this window.
12. Start dialing
Now you can try dialing, click the "Connect" button to try it.
