How to set up a file type to open using a program in WINDOWS8

1, in need to modify the default program of the file on the right mouse button, move the mouse to the pop-up menu "open mode (H)", and then in the right-hand list to find the program and click, you can use the program to open the file type file. As shown in the following illustration:

2, the above steps only as a single need to open, if you need to set a program to open the type of file by default, or the system does not recognize the corresponding program, we can follow the image shown below click "Select the default program (C) ...".

3, in the pop-up dialog box, be sure to check the "all. pdf files are open with this application," and then click on the list of programs such as "Windows reader", you can set the system all PDF suffix files using Windows reader open. As shown in the following illustration:

4. If the required program is not listed in the list, click the "More Options" button as shown above, click "Find other apps on this computer" in the image below, and then select an installed program (support shortcut key mode) as you normally would.
