In the Word2013 document, users can set the location of your SmartArt graphic in a Word document as needed. For example, users can use the preset location options provided by Word2013 to set the location of the SmartArt graphic, and you can set its location precisely in the Layout dialog box.
If you use the preset location options to set the location of your SmartArt graphic, you can select the SmartArt graphic, and then in the SmartArt Tools/Formatting ribbon, click the Position button in the arrangement group. Select the appropriate preset location option in the list of open places (for example, select "Top left, surround text wrapping"), as shown in Figure 1.

If you want to make more detailed placement settings for your SmartArt graphic, you can do so in the Layout dialog box, as described in the following steps:
Step 1th, open the Word2013 document window, and click to select the SmartArt graphic.
Step 2nd, in the SmartArt Tools/Formatting ribbon, click the Position button in the Arrange group. In the Open Location list, select any location option other than inline text line, and then choose Other Layout Options command, as shown in Figure 2.

Step 3rd, open the Layout dialog box, where you can set the horizontal and vertical alignment of the SmartArt graphic, respectively, in the Location tab. The horizontal alignment includes align Left, center, and right, and vertical alignment includes top, center, bottom, alignment, and so on, vertically. , "internal" and "external" methods. In addition, the user can also set the book layout, absolute position and relative position. Select the Move object with text check box to change the position of the text around the SmartArt graphic so that the location of the SmartArt graphic changes, so that the relative position of the text remains unchanged. Click the OK button when you finish setting, as shown in Figure 3.
