How to set up DNS for Windows 7 systems

Step method

Step 1, right-click Desktop Network (WIN7) properties.

Step 2, click Change adapter settings to open the network connection.

Step 3, select the Local connection---right---properties.

Step 4, select Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPV4) and double-click to open.

Step 5, select "Use the following DNS server address" to enter any of the following (202.98.96.68, 61.166.150.123, 61.139.54.66, 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4) in the Preferred DNS server address box below, and click OK. Of course, the address here is determined by its own specific server.

XP system settings are exactly the same, the only difference is that you right-click the Network Neighborhood on the desktop-select properties to set.
