Tips:
Depending on the driver version, the Setup interface may be different even for the same graphics card. In addition, ATI graphics cards (i.e. AMD graphics cards) under Windows XP, NVIDIA graphics cards may not have power settings options under Windows 7/8.
One, the ATI graphics card power settings (under Windows 7/8)
1, the desktop blank space, click the right mouse button, in the Pop-up menu click "Display Card Properties";
2, according to the icon, in the pop-up "basic" dialog box, click on "Advanced", pop-up "notification" dialog box hit "Yes", click "Next";
3. Click "Show Card" to select "Powerplay" in the drop-down menu.
4, in "Powerplay Settings", select "Enable Powerplay" is enabled power management, uncheck that is to disable power management, according to the need to set;
5, disable power management after the status of the following diagram, click "Apply", "OK" to complete the operation.
Second, the Intel graphics card power settings
1, under Windows XP
(1) Desktop blank, click the right mouse button, in the Pop-up menu click "Graphic Properties";
(2) in the pop-up dialog, click "Display Settings" in the sequence, and tap the "Power settings" button;
(3) According to the specific needs to drag the slider, select the appropriate option, wherein the "Disable power saving" is to disable the management, select OK, click "Modify Settings", click "Apply", "OK" to complete the operation.
2. Under Windows 7/8
(1) Desktop blank, click the right mouse button, in the popup menu click "Show Card Properties";
(2) in the Pop-up dialog box, click "Power", "Power Plan", select "Power on" or "use battery" through the drop-down menu, select the specific power scheme, select "Maximum Performance" is the full speed of the graphics card, click "Apply", "OK" to complete the setup. (Tip: Depending on your current power environment, choose "Power on" or "use Battery")
Third, the NVIDIA video card power settings (under Windows XP)
1, the desktop blank space, click the right mouse button, in the Pop-up menu click "Nvidia Control Panel";
2. In the "Nvidia Control Panel" dialog box that pops up, select "Change powermizer Settings" in "Move";
3, in the change Powermizer setting, can choose according to the need. Wherein, select "Do not control my power consumption (disable Powermizer) (N)" is to disable the video card management. Then, click on the "Apply" button at the bottom right to complete the operation.
