The DLink router Setup has the Setup Wizard, which is easy to set up by using the wizard.
First, you need to know the router's IP address, login username and password, which are all on the back of the router. Open the browser, in the browser address bar to enter your router's address, my router's address is 192.168.0.1. So I entered 192.168.0.1, click Enter
Pop-up enter user name and Password dialog box, enter your login username and password (generally in the back of the router), click Return
into the router setup interface,
Click on the "Setup Wizard", the interface appears on the right, click Next
Automatically detect Internet port types
For a little while, you'll be able to detect the type you're using, I'm using Unicom's broadband, and then click Next
Enter your username and password and click Finish
After a while, click on the state above to see that you are connected to the Internet.
In this interface, you can see your IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, DNS server
When you see that you have connected to the Internet, click the Wireless option above to set up a wireless network interface.
Wireless network ID: The name of your wireless network, like mine is DLink
Security options: Select the encryption method of your wireless password, recommend the encryption method as shown
Password: Enter the password for your wireless network
Leave the rest to the default and click Apply.
So the DLink wireless router is set up. You can use your laptop to surf the internet.
