Recently I changed my computer and started to build an Android development environment. The following error always occurs when I download the SDK:
Copy codeThe Code is as follows: Failed to fetch URL http://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/addons_list-1.xml.
Said dl-ssl.google.com was strong in the Mainland, the solution is to modify the C: \ Windows \ System32 \ drivers \ etc \ hosts file. Add a row:
Copy codeThe Code is as follows: 74.125.237.1 dl-ssl.google.com
Note that the hosts file is read-only and we do not have the permission to modify it. We need to copy the hosts file to the desktop or somewhere else, and then modify the Code as follows:Copy codeThe Code is as follows: # Copyright (c) 1993-2009 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# Entry shoshould be kept on an individual line. The IP address shold
# Be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name shocould be separated by at least one
# Space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# Lines or following the machine name denoted by a' # 'symbol.
#
# For example:
#
#102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
#38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host
# Localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
#127.0.0.1 localhost
#: 1 localhost
// Add this sentence.
74.125.237.1 dl-ssl.google.com
Save and copy the modified hosts file to the C: \ Windows \ System32 \ drivers \ etc directory. Replace the file !!! We will succeed when downloading the SDK again, for example:
Hey, you're done !!!
PS: In mac or Linux, the hosts file is located/Etc/hosts, You can useSudo vim/etc/hosts.
