How to solve EDA cabling for non-standard equipment in the data center

With the rapid growth of data and information traffic, the data center construction scale is unprecedented. In order to support efficient data processing, generally, many non-standard server devices or storage devices are used. The so-called non-standard devices refer to the transmission devices with peripheral installation dimensions that do not conform to the standard network cabinet specifications. In general, non-standard equipment cannot be installed in standard network cabinets of data center 19 inch. non-standard equipment usually comes with a frame and is directly placed on the active floor of the data center. According to the general data center wiring standard, the equipment wiring area in the EDA region is divided into equipment cabinets. However, the overall cabinet is a non-standard transmission device of a device, obviously, it is impossible to wiring in the conventional way, and non-standard devices cannot accommodate the space for wiring. Therefore, in the actual wiring project, how can we achieve the characteristics of non-standard EDA regional cabling flexibility, high density, reliability, and ease of use without violating the standards related to structured data center cabling?

In recent years, the wiring technology is changing with each passing day. Compared with a few years ago, the wiring of non-standard devices shown in 1 is believed to be not accepted by most users. In the field of wiring, various manufacturers have presented a further specialized division of labor. A Hybrid-Patch solves the wiring requirements of optical fiber and copper cables at the same time. In addition, the installation accessories of the distribution frame and cable tray are provided. The distribution frame itself can be conveniently installed in a standard cabinet of 19 inch, which fully reflects its flexibility in practical application.

High Density

One of the most obvious features of IDC cabling compared with common cabling applications is high density. The overall height of Hybrid-Patch optical copper Hybrid modular distribution frame is 1HU, as the name suggests, the product can be configured with optical fiber products and copper products. The height of 1HU itself already includes the horizontal rational structure. Compared with traditional products, the design of this part is already equivalent to doubling the density. In addition, all the ports on the distribution frame are configured with RJ45 copper ports, which can reach 36 ports. Compared with the traditional 24-port copper distribution frame without horizontal adjustment, the density is increased by three times. If all optical fiber interfaces using LC interfaces are used, a maximum of 72 cores can be used. If the wiring density of EDA optical fiber is particularly high, MPO optical fiber interface can be used on Hybrid-Patch, and a distribution frame can reach a maximum of 288 cores. High reliability

In terms of product details, we fully reflect the design requirements for reliability, and design arc deprecation devices on both sides of the distribution frame, the bending radius of the deprecation device is designed according to the standard requirements of the bending radius of the jumper, which protects the safety of the optical cable removal, the bending radius will not be too small because the bottom optical cable is pressed when the two sides are deprecated at a high density.

Ease of use

No matter how good performance parameters the product has, usability and practicality are also very important for users. From Hybrid-Patch, we can see that multiple details can reflect the practical and easy-to-use features. In addition to integrating the horizontal review function, the distribution frame also has a label panel for rotation and maintenance on the front surface bezel. The label Panel can be easily and clearly recorded, this is not an easy task for high-density cabling products, but it is an important task for subsequent maintenance and management, hybrid-Patch adopts the design method of the rotatable label panel, which takes into account the requirements of high density and easy management for the wiring products.
