How to solve the Chinese Question mark of the archlinux gnome terminal USB flash drive

Source: Internet
Author: User

. Bashrc has set exportlang = zh_CN.UTF-8, but there is still garbled code after inserting a USB flash drive containing Chinese Characters
PS: My USB flash drive uses the FAT32 file system.

Cause: Hal automatically mount the vfat File System Default charset is iso8859-1, so must be changed to gb2312 to display Chinese

Method: under GNOME, choose configuartion editor> system> storage> default_options> vfat to modify mount_options and add iocharset = gb2312.

NOTE: If gb2312 is used, terminal must be set to Terminal-> set character encoding-> gb2312
Here I changed the result to iocharset = utf8, and Chinese characters can also be displayed normally... utf8 is better in Linux, so we can use utf8 encoding...
