How to solve the file suspension error prompt when installing SQL Server 2000
When installing SQL Server 2000, the following message is displayed:
"PreviousProgramInstall a file that has been suspended on the installation computer. You must restart the computer before running the installer ."
Then follow the prompts to restart the computer, and then install again, the same prompt still appears. The reason is that the installer leaves some information in the system registry during the previous installation process, and thus cannot be installed. Delete the following key-value information to install the agent:
Enter Regedit in the running window, open registry editor, find pendingfilerenameoperations in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ controlset001 \ Control \ Session Manager, delete the key value, and Close Registry Editor. Re-Install SQL Server 2000. The installation interface for a long time has finally surfaced.
This key value is a temporary project of the installer. You only need to clear the corresponding application.
