What does Fastboot mean?

Literally speaking, Fastboot is an English word, which translates into Chinese and means "quick start 』.
Fastboot is usually the Fastboot mode of Android phones. Fastboot is a lower-layer flash mode than recovery in Android phones. To put it simply, it is a flash mode that uses a USB data cable to connect to a computer.

This method is also called "wire brush. In addition, the Android phone also has a flash brush method called card swipe. The differences between the two are as follows.

Wire brush: after using the recovery to clear the system and cache, directly plug in the computer to inject the system. I personally think this method is fast and easy to use.

Card swiping: This function is used to update the system from the SD card of recovery. The premise is that if you want to update the recovery, your system must be equipped with FASTBOOT to refresh the system.

How to enter fastboot mode?

First, install the Android mobile phone driver on the computer. After the mobile phone is completely shut down, enter fastboot. Because the mobile phone is different, the keys used in the fastboot combination are different. You can try it slowly, there are just a few keys. Here we use the Xiaomi mobile phone as an example to connect to the data line after entering fastboot (Most Android phones can be shut down, and then press the power key + volume + to enter Fastboot mode after about 2-3 seconds..)

1) Download the compressed package (search for available fastboot files on the Internet based on your model );

(2) decompress the package to the root directory of the c drive and copy the imgfile of the recovery to the c: fastboot directory, as shown in the following figure.

(3) open the command line prompt on the computer (Win7 or Win8 requires administrator permission to run) and enter the following command (after each line of command is input, press the Enter key to run in sequence ):
