How to solve the problem of Logon failure when installing SQL in Windows 8

Description:

1, Windows 8 using Windows ID as the Login User such as XYZ@OUTLOOK.COM user name bc a, after installation BC will be used as the local WIN account

2. After any version of SQL Server is installed, logon fails, and logon fails in win and SQL modes.

Cause:

After SQL is installed, SA is disabled by default and TCP access is disabled. You can only log on to the Windows Account set during installation, while the current win account is XYZ@OUTLOOK.COM user name BC, windows Account XXX-PC/BC logon is displayed when you log on to SQL in win mode, but the pop-up error is found to be using Microsoft account/XYZ@OUTLOOK.COM as the login account, the two accounts are mapped to each other, the SQL is confused by itself, and it is obviously unable to log on normally.

Solution

1. Go to computer management and open the Administrator account

2. log on to the Administrator. you can log on to the SQL server in win mode.

3. Enable the SA disabling status.

4. Set the Data Engine access mode to SQL SERVER + windows.

5. switch back to the original win login, and log on to SQL using the SA account
