3. Install the ruijie Client

This step is also required for accessing the Internet in Widnows XP.

4. Download Mento Supplicant

Because ruijie does not have a Windows Vista version, and the Registry structure in Windows Vista has changed, the ruijie client cannot read the NIC information and thus cannot be linked. This program is used to solve this problem. Download the compressed package and place the extracted files to the root directory of the ruijie client.

5. The last step

After the preparation is complete, follow the normal steps to modify the IP address, gateway, subnet mask, and DNS server.When adding a route, you must right-click the batch file and select "Run as administrator". Otherwise, a message indicating insufficient permissions is displayed.Because ruijie cannot obtain network card information, we must use the software in step 1 to replace ruijie for the first dial-up. before dialing, we need to remove the "enable smart reconnection" on the "smart" tab. After connecting with Mento, you can use VPN to connect to the public network.

Before connecting to the Intranet, You need to disable 802.1x Authentication Over Ethernet. If there is no wireless Nic, the "authentication" tab is not displayed on the NIC attribute page by default, to disable 802.1x authentication, open the "run" dialog box through Win + R and enter services in it. msc open the Service Manager, find the Wire Autoconfig Service, and start it, so that you can see the "authentication" tab on the NIC properties page.
