How to solve the problem that IE cannot open a new window

I have posted a lot of methods in the past, but it seems that they are not all able to solve the problem. There are a lot of reasons for this situation. Here we briefly summarize it.

1. In many cases, it is caused by the installation of the acdsee32 5.0 mini Chinese Version created by Guangjie. Some people have uninstalled the tool after installing an IE Enhancement Tool. Generally, you can try the following command to solve the problem (I have verified the problem in XP ).

2. Issues with the comctl32.dll file.

This file may be replaced when IE or Windows is upgraded. Maybe the new version of comctl32.dll has a bug. Find a Windows installation CD, search for it, find a file named comctl32.dl _, copy it, use WinRAR to extract the file as a comctl32.dll file, and overwrite the existing file. (I don't know if there is any file in the 98 CD. I use the 2000 CD)

3. An error occurred when registering regsvr32 oleaut32.dll with a method, or an error occurred when registering regsvr32 oleaut32.dll again.

Extract the oleaut32.dll file from the Windows CD and overwrite the existing file with WinRAR in the mdac_ie5.cab package.

4. the DCOM attribute settings are incorrect.

(4 ). Click the "Default Security Mechanism" tab.
(5 ). In the "default access permission" column, click "Edit default value ".
(6 ). Check whether there are "system" and "interactive" items in the column under "name". If not, add them.
(7 ). Click OK and click OK.
