How to specify the time-out when MongoDB indexes are established

Source: Internet
Author: User

MongoDB has established TTL (time to live) for the index since the 2.2 version, you can specify a field of type date as the index of the document and specify the TTL (in seconds), and the MongoDB internal checks the TTL every minute, and if it times out, deletes the specified document. This feature is useful for implementing the session.

When creating an index using Java, use the following

Col as Collection Object

Basicdbobject index = new Basicdbobject ();

_lastm for Date type data

Index.put ("_latm", 1);
The second basicdbobject is used to specify the time-out period for a document
Col.createindex (Index, New Basicdbobject ("Expireafterseconds", maxinactiveinterval*60));

In addition, the session must dynamically update the _LATM field and synchronize to MongoDB
