Submitting your application to the Windows application store is easy if you get the right guidance. I should know this-I've already submitted two applications (Kids car Colors and teach Kids Music) to the Windows App Store, and I've helped others submit hundreds of applications. I believe you can submit a high-quality and useful application to the application store within one or two. This article describes how to accomplish this task in 10 simple steps.

There are many reasons to consider writing a Windows application Store application for Windows 8. First, the Windows App Store offers more than 100 million applications to download, and is undoubtedly a viable ecosystem for entrepreneurs and developers. The chances of leveraging Windows developer skills to generate revenue have never been so great. One of my colleagues developed a card game that earned more than $30,000 a month.

Another good reason to seriously consider writing applications for the software market is that future software development is clearly moving in that direction. Not long ago, companies or individual developers created websites to locate or package themselves. While this is still the case, the emerging trend is to create and distribute software through web-based markets such as the Windows application store.

Because of the distracting challenges of minimizing customer purchases, accounting and collection, deployment, and installation (where only a few aspects are listed), this software model solves a number of problems for start-up entrepreneurs. For millions of of customers, Windows 8 and Windows App Store make it easy for them to find, use, and purchase high-quality, certified applications from almost anywhere in the world. For developers, Windows 8 and Windows application stores make it easy for them to distribute and update their own developed applications and get paid for them.

Before I begin, I want to point out that this article focuses on Windows 8, not Windows Phone. Windows Phone has a separate application store (marketplace) and its own separate SDK.

The simple 10 steps

The purpose of this article is to explain the steps that I took when I submitted two applications to the Windows application store. As you can imagine, I have to learn some new skills, and I want to impart these skills to you. Let's take a look at these steps.

You have inspiration-want to develop a game, office or information application, or any content that fits the format.

Download tools, SDK, and more. You need to run Windows 8 and also download and install Visual Studio Express for Windows Desktop (free of charge) and optional SDK (such as Windows SDK for Windows 8 and advert Ising SDK).

Create a Windows Application store developer account in the Microsoft Developer Center Portal. At the Microsoft Developer Center Portal, you can register and enter information about your application, such as name, pricing, application purchase, description of the application store, and screenshot (you can see a screenshot after step 5 is complete)). You can get a free Windows application store account.

Consider whether the application displays advertisements. If the advertisement is displayed, the account for the Microsoft advertising pubcenter is required. You will get Adunitid, which is used in Adcontrol in your application.

After you choose from a variety of project templates and languages, you create a project in Visual Studio. When the development work is complete, you will create the application package (actually the compressed version of the application).

Upload the application package to the Developer Center portal. You have entered information about the application in step 3. Now you need to upload the completed application package.

Complete the rest of the work in the Developer Center portal. After uploading the application package, fill in the remaining two sections-application details and testers ' considerations.

Now, wait for authentication. If your application fails to pass compliance testing, you need to fix the related issues.

Resubmit the application. However, the first failure to pass the certification is very common. This article can help: Bit.ly/rvo1vy.

Adjust and enhance the application. Applications should continue to improve over time. The income model may also change. For example, you might choose to try a model instead of a free model with ads. Making money by advertising requires a huge scale.

Now, let's take a look at some details.

The idea is that you can't really start acting until you have a good idea. In my example, this is easy. I have a 2-year-old son who prefers to learn with equipment rather than books. I realized he liked two things: cars and music. So the first application I developed was designed to teach him about colours in cars. With the second app, I wanted to show him the look and sound of the various instruments in the orchestra.

The game is obviously more popular, whether it's from download times or when people spend their time on apps. The second most popular application category is social networking, followed by entertainment and utilities (see READ.BI/ZGIUV6 's Slide "moving future" for more information). If your goal is to maximize your popularity and thus gain financial benefits, you need to consider which application type to put your resources on.

Designing Windows 8 represents a significant leap in the field of UI design. It is fast, fluid, and optimized for mobile devices that support touch, such as laptops, tablets, and variants. This new design pattern, previously known as the Microsoft UI design language, is also known as a modern UI. Compared to flashy graphics, it focuses more on beautiful fonts, placing content in front of end users rather than on the edge of an order. For application development work that leverages modern UI design, it is based on a simple approach that treats balance, symmetry, and hierarchy as the main pillars, as shown in the Bing News application in Figure 1. Forget the projection effect, transparency, and 3D. All applications accepted by the Windows application store must follow the Windows Store UX Design Guide (see design.windows.com and BIT.LY/R1MLWH for more design guides).
