How to switch between an Apple ID and an icloud account on your Mac

All users should have their own Apple ID, which is not only tied to your icloud account, Imessage,facetime, App store,itunes, IBooks and Passbook, and Apple Pay, You can also use this ID on your new Mac system to log in. Because each user should have their own unique Apple ID and correspond to their device, sometimes the user wants to change the account on the Mac.

The Mac is actually supported by multiple users, and different users can enter their own space on the same Mac by logging in to their ID.

1. Click the  icon in the top left corner and click System Preferences.

2. Click icloud.

3. Click Log out to log out of your current Apple ID, but be aware that logging out of your current Apple ID may affect your own data on your Mac, and be aware of backing up your data.

4. In the window that appears, fill in the new AppleID that you want to log in.

Keep in mind that changing your Apple ID will affect Message,facetime, App store, ITunes, IBooks and Passbook, and Apple Pay a range of features.

If you want to be a friend, family member, roommate or change ID, a better way is to recreate a new user within the user and group. Your Mac will automatically create a completely new profile without affecting your own use.

Of course, there are sometimes other reasons why you might want to change your Apple ID, such as browsing itunes or the App Store outside your own area.
