How to troubleshoot the slow animation of WPF, Silverlight, and aero under intel i7 platform win7 x64

* Does it seem to show off? *

This week, we entered a new Inter i7 platform, gts250, and 12gb memory for our own servers.

Win7 rating

7.5 CPU memory

Show 7.9

Hard Disk 5.8

---------- Problem ----------------

The servant thinks it is nice, but the cup and toothbrush always exist together.

I don't want to see the slow speed of Aero animation, such as maximizing and minimizing dock speed, after installing win7 64.

After careful observation, the original animation of about half a second is extended to more than one second in a slow way.

Later, WPF was developed.ProgramExercise: It takes more than one second for the standard animation of the checkbox to go from the unchecked state to the checked state. I thought it was broken. Does WPF need to be scrapped?

Find a Silverlight application, cool.pptv.com, and find that the animation is also very slow.

--------- Experience-based solutions -----------------------

It was observed that the slow and full movements of the WPF and SL animations were smooth without any loss of seek. The eight cpu monitoring windows are also smaller than 5%.

It seems that the clock frequency is faulty.

Sl wpf and aero must have referred to an incorrect clock to cause computing errors when playing the animation.

Only because aero is a set animation, while WPF is the real-time generation of DX acceleration in SL, there is a display difference.

I7 is too new, and some functions cannot be supported correctly yet, right?

Google has no solution in 10 minutes. You still have to find a solution.

Enable BIOS to view suspicious items and observe settings one by one. In cell settings, the CPU finds an Intel turbo boost function.

Turbo reminds me of my childhood 486sx 33. This machine has a turbo button on the previous version. Press on, the frequency number on the panel will change from 16 to 33 kHz. Sometimes the DOS Game opened in the 16 kHz state will suddenly become faster if you press turbo. This is useful when playing Korean street fighters.

Well... It seems to be related to the clock frequency.

Turn Off

F10

Save.

Re-enter system SL/WPF/aero

All pass.

Later, I asked the hardware experts, saying that this is a technology called Turbo frequency, which automatically reduces the frequency when it is idle, and there may be extra frequency when it is needed.

I think this technology may be good for the best use. However, I am not afraid to use it for time-sensitive applications, such as stopwatches, performance counters, online games, and blabla. Or close the insurance point.

In view of the previous failure of Google, we hope that later users can refer to it.

We hope that both Windows x64 and Intel can communicate with each other to update the latest clock frequency to the user State at any time.
