The automatic correction of Apple OS X can help users with input in English, but sometimes, the system will think that they are smarter than you, and take the liberty to replace what you originally wanted to enter the content, this is a very headache, and sometimes will make jokes. So how do you close this self-righteous function?
How to turn off automatic correction of OS X Yosemite
Step 1: Click the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner of the screen to open spotlight.
Step 2: Enter the "Keyboard" and click the first result, which should take you to the keyboard settings in the System Preferences menu.
Step 3: Click the "Text" tab at the top of the window, and then uncheck the "Automatically correct spelling" column.
After canceling the check, the system will turn off the feature immediately, and you won't even have to confirm it. Note, however, that this step applies only to the latest version of the Yosemite system, which may have been closed differently.
