How to turn off the Oracle RAC option make RAC

On the AIX platform, Oracle software that is tar from the RAC environment is directly extracted to the new machine and the target environment is stand-alone, and the RAC option needs to be turned off.

RAC off

1. Login as the Oracle software owner and shutdown all database instances to all nodes in the cluster.

2. CD $ORACLE _home/rdbms/lib

3. Make-f ins_rdbms.mk Rac_off

If This step did the fail with fatal errors, proceed to step 4.

4. Make-f ins_rdbms.mk ioracle

Note:if These steps fail with a Fatal Error, then your'll need to open a Service Request and submit this errors to Orac Le Support for analysis.
