How to uninstall Windows 8 in Windows 7 and Windows 8

For the first time, Microsoft displayed the Windows 8 startup interface similar to WP7.

Windows 8 preview version has been released for a week. Many children's shoes are installed with dual systems (most of which are Windows 7 + Windows 8). If necessary, I will write a tutorial on uninstalling Windows 8 on dual systems.


1. Restart to enter another System

2. format the drive letter of Windows 8.

3. Use bcdedit to edit the Startup menu (see the attachment below)

Bcdedit is a command line tool in the nt60 Operating System (Windows 7/Vista/2008) to create and reconfigure bootloader. The latter no longer needs to use the boot. ini file. That is to say, the bcdedit tool can be used to modify the Startup menu of nt60 series systems.

Click BCD edit-View/Edit



In the left pane of bcdedit, You can see Windows 8 Developer Preview. Press del to delete the Windows 8 Developer Preview menu.
