Today, I helped my friend debug the Linux server of the instant messaging virtual disk. Here I will write some experiences on using the super IP update.
Log on to the Web management page of the Linux server and enter the super IP address. For example, enter 192.168.0.100.
Note that it is best to restart the server after the settings are set. Otherwise, the settings do not take effect and cannot be updated.
Install Microsoft iSCSI Initiator on the client (for updated machines.
Set the iSCSI client,
Open the Discovery Tab
Target Portals-> Add: Add a virtual disk server. In advanced options, set the Local adapter to Microsoft iSCSI Initiator.
The Source IP address is the local IP address (that is, the super IP address), which is very important. Otherwise, it cannot be updated.
After adding the Server IP address, open the Targets tab and send the added Virtual Disk server.
Click Log On. Pay attention to setting advanced options. The Local Adapter is Microsoft iSCSI Initiator, and the Source IP is the Local IP address.
Target Portal is the IP address of the added Virtual Disk server, for example:
After setting, confirm. At this point, the local machine will connect to the virtual disk, and its operations on the virtual disk will be saved (such as adding, deleting, and modifying files in the Virtual Disk ).
