How to Upgrade Oracle Patches

Source: Internet

In order to solve the memory leakage, the patch has been upgraded many times in the past few months, but it has failed many times, but it has finally been solved. In fact, the upgrade fails because some files are being used by other programs. The solution is to stop the program that is using the relevant DLL.
Generally, we disable the Oracle and listener services, and then upgrade the patch. However, the upgrade often fails. At this time, we need to disable the Distributed Transaction Coordinator service and upgrade the service again, most of which will be successful. If it still fails, you need to disable the Oracle-related services and the Distributed Transaction Coordinator service, restart the computer, and upgrade again. In this way, there is no failure.
