How to upgrade Ubuntu 13.04 to Ubuntu
Currently, 13.04 is still in beta or alpha testing, which means it is not completely stable and may contain errors and problems. Before you begin, back up important files.
We recommend that you disable all third-party software libraries before starting any upgrade process. You can choose system Settings> Software source> other software.
When everything is ready, start using the following steps:
First, press Ctrl + Alt + T to open the terminal and run the command to update your system:
Sudo apt-get update & sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
Press Alt + F2 to bring up the running command box, and then type:
Update-manager-d
The "Software Update" window appears. When you check for updates, you will see the prompt "Ubuntu13.04 is available now ". Click upgrade and then start the process:
After everything is complete, restart your computer.
