How to use a wireless router and how to set a wireless route

　　Ii. how to configure the wireless router software

To make the wireless router work normally, you need to set software for the router, tell the router your ADSL user name and password, and how to encrypt your wireless network.

1. Use a network cable to connect the notebook to the router (one of the four holes in the figure). Then you can set the wireless route through the browser.

The router address is http: // 192.168.1.1. You can directly enter the access address (refer to: vro addresses of different brands ).

If the access is successful, the browser will prompt you to enter the login user name and password. The vast majority of router user names are admin, And the password is also admin (refer to: Router password ).

2. After logging in, you must first set up the ADSL virtual dialing (PPPoE) and enter your ADSL user name and password so that the router can automatically dial the internet.

In addition, if you connect this wireless route to another wired route, you can skip the ADSL setting step and directly set the wireless network.

3. Find [Quick settings] And set ADSL.

Because vrouters of different brands have different setting interfaces, we only use IPCom wireless routers as an example. The setting process for vrouters of other brands is similar. In short, you can find the place to set ADSL.

3. Select ADSL virtual dialing in the quick settings menu and click Next]

4. Enter your internet account and password.

To ensure that your wireless network is not used by others at will, you need to set a security password for your wireless network.

1. First, find [Wireless Settings]-[Basic settings], enter the name of your vro in [SSID], and set it as needed to identify your network.
