1.4 Add a Workflow

In the "reserve meeting room" list, click "list Settings" under "Settings ".

Click "workflow Settings" under "permissions and management ".

On the settings page, select "three-state" workflow. Enter the workflow name: reserve a meeting room. In the "task list" and "historical task list", select create list. In "launch options", select "start this workflow when creating a project ". Click "Next ".

In "workflow status", the "Reservation status" field is selected by default, and three related statuses are selected.

"Operations to be performed when starting a workflow" is an operation performed by the system when the workflow is started (that is, the workflow is in the "apply for Reservation" status. The result is that an email is sent to the user "mossadmin" when the workflow is started. (assume that the user is the person who schedules the meeting room time ).

"Operations to be performed when a workflow is changed to the intermediate state" is an operation performed by the system when the workflow is set to the second stage (that is, in the "confirm reservation" State. The result is that the workflow sends an email to the Creator, that is, the applicant.

1.5 Use Workflow

Now let's test the workflow usage by creating a reservation for a new meeting room.
In the "reserve meeting room" list, click "new project" under "new ".

Based on the relevant information, select "apply for Reservation" in the first phase of "Reservation status ".

After you confirm the creation of the project, according to the settings in section 4 above, the user "mossadmin" will receive an email with the title and content as the relevant information entered when adding workflow settings. With a link to the application.

Click the link in the email to open the application project. The "Reservation status" is "apply for Reservation". If you agree to the application, click "Edit project ".

On the Edit project page, change "Reservation status" to "confirm reservation" and click "OK ".

At this time, the workflow enters the second stage. Based on our settings, the system sends an email to the project creator. Similarly, the title and content are the relevant settings when the workflow is added.

In this case, the project creator can click the link of the email to view the information. You can also go to the "Booking meeting room" list to view the project status. Click the title to enter the project.

On the project editing page, click "Edit project"

Change "Reservation status" to "complete Reservation"

After confirmation, you can see in the list that the project status is "completed reservation ". The final column shows the "Booking meeting room" workflow status as "completed ".

1.6 use of views

After entering the "Booking meeting room" list, we can see in the view on the right that the default view is "Booking meeting room" because we created this view in section 3 above, and set it to the default view. It displays the project created by the current user. If the project is not created by you, a blank list is displayed.
To view projects of others, click the Small Arrow behind the view name and select "all projects"

Go to all project views and you will be able to see each project.
