How to use beyond compare for registry comparisons

Beyond Compare is a powerful professional folder and file Contrast tool that can be used to manage source code, keep folders synchronized, compare program output and validate data, and, of course, compare the registry to find out what's different. This section details how registry comparisons are performed with beyond compare.

The specific steps are as follows:

Step one install beyond Compare on your computer, double-click the application to open the Beyond Compare main interface, as shown in the following figure.

Step two, double-click the Registry Comparison section on the left, and open the Registry Comparison dialog box.

Step three click on the Open button on the left, select the registry file you want to open, or click the next Drop-down menu and choose "Open Registry", as shown in the following figure.

Step four then pop the "open registry-left" dialog box, click the Browse button under the base point, the pop-up selection of the Infrastructure dialog box to select the directory below the table below, click "OK".

Step Five click the Open button on the right, select the registry file you want to open, or click the next Drop-down menu and select "Open Registry", as shown in the following figure.

Step six to click the "Difference" button above to quickly find out the difference between the two registry. The contents of the registry comparison are explained in more detail in a later tutorial, and here is a brief introduction.
