Let's take a look at the final effect.

For future convenience, you need to choose Edit> preset management, select a contour from the preset type drop-down menu, click the gear button on the right, select a contour, and click append, you will get more contour lines. In addition, we also need to load the default PS gradient style, select the gradient from the drop-down menu of the preset type just now, continue to click the gear button on the right, select coordination color 1, and click append.

Create background

Step 1:

Create a 900 * 675px document, set the foreground color to # 2c353c, and the background color to #191919. then click the gradient tool, select a linear gradient, and create a gradient effect from the lower left corner to the upper right corner, rename the layer name: Background.

Step 2:

Open the texture31 texture image, place it on the top of the Background layer, and change it to Background_Texture. in the blending mode, select the front slice and click Image> Adjust> de-color.

Create a font layer

Step 2:

Use the Intrepid ExtraBold font to create a fully uppercase text, color: # e5eaec, size: 230pt, font size: visual, font size: 100.

Step 2:

Copy four copies of the text layer and name it clean_copy_1 ~ 4. Then, fill all the copied text layers with 0.

Create stroke layer

Step 1:

Double-click the original text layer, select stroke in the layer style panel, and set the following values

Size: 10

Location: External

Color: # 7e7e7e

You will see the following results

Step 2:

Copy the original text layer, rename it Stroke 1, right-click the raster layer style, and change the fill to 0.

If you are using a version of CS6 or earlier, you need to create a layer Group (layer> layer Group), rename the group to Stroke1, and then click layer> merge group, and change the fill to 0.

Copy the Stroke 1 layer, rename it to Stroke 2, and place it below the original text layer.

Add a style for the stroke layer

Double-click the original text layer, and we need to add some layer styles for it.

Step 1:

On the layer style panel, select slope and relief, and set the following values:

Style: Stroke Relief

Glossy contour lines: conical-asymmetrical

Select the remove from tooth check box

Highlight mode: Bright

Opacity 100%

Step 2:

Select a contour line and set the following values

Contour line: semi-circle

Select the remove from tooth check box

You will see the following results

Add a style for the top layer stroke layer

Double-click the Stroke 1 layer and apply the layer style:

Step 1:

On the layer style panel, select slope and relief, and set the following values:

Size: 2

Select the remove from tooth check box

Shadow mode color: #676767

Step 2:

Select a contour line and set the following values:

Contour lines: conical-inversion

Select the remove from tooth check box

Step 3:

Select gradient superposition and set the following values:

Hybrid mode: soft light

Opacity 51%

Style: symmetric

Fill with stove pipe 150 gradient

You will see the following results


Add projection

Double-click the Stroke 2 layer, select projection in the layer style panel, and set the following values:

Distance: 15

Size: 7

You will see the following results

Double-click the copied text_copy_1 text copy and add the following style

Step 1:

On the layer style panel, select stroke and set the following values:

Size: 1

Fill type: gradient

Style: symmetric

Angle: 90

Fill with steel pipe 60 gradient

Step 2:

Select the inner shadow check box and set the following values:

Mixed mode: Normal

Color: #2c6c99

Opacity 100%

Distance: 0

Size: 18

Step 3:

Select projection and set the following values:

Distance: 17

Size: 9

You will see the following results

Add Layer styles for text copies

Double-click text_copy_2 text copy and add the following style

Step 1:

On the layer style panel, select slope and relief, and set the following values:

Deep: 297

Size: 35

Select the check box using global light

Angle: 108

Height: 42

Select the remove from tooth check box

Highlight mode: Bright

Opacity 64%

Shadow mode-opacity: 0%

Click the glossy contour line to bring up the contour line editor. click two points on the curve and set the input and output values. remember to check the corner to make the two points straight.

Above point: 71-72

Points Below: 42-34

Step 2

Select a contour line and set the following values:

Contour lines: inner concave-depth

Select the remove from tooth check box

Step 3:

Select stroke and set the following values:

Size: 1

Fill type: gradient

Angle: 90

Fill with stove pipe 155b gradient

You will see the following results


Add Layer styles for text copies

Double-click text_copy_3 text copy and add the following style

Step 1:

On the layer style panel, select slope and relief, and set the following values:

Size: 21

Select the check box using global light

Angle: 53

Height: 64

Select the remove from tooth check box

Highlight mode: Bright

Shadow mode-opacity: 24%

Step 2:

Select the contour lines, and then select the remove from Sawtooth check box.

You will see the following results

Add Layer styles for text copies

Double-click text_copy_4 text copy and add the following style

Step 1:

On the layer style panel, select slope and relief, and set the following values:

Size: 21

Select the check box using global light

Angle: 108

Height: 74

Select the remove from tooth check box

Highlight mode: Bright

Shadow mode-opacity: 0%

Step 2:

Select a contour line and set the following values:

Contour lines: logarithm

Select the remove from tooth check box

You will see the following results

Create text texture

Step 1:

Set the foreground color and background color to black and white (shortcut: d), create a new layer and put it on the top, rename it Text_Texture, and then click filter> rendering> Cloud

Step 2:

Click filter> filter Library> paint brush stroke> strengthen edge, and set the edge width to 2, The Edge brightness to 38, and the smoothness to 5.

You will get a simple texture

Step 3:

Change the blending mode of Text_Texture to soft

Step 4:

Select the Text_Texture layer, and press ctrl to click the text layer next to the canvas to create a selection.

Step 5:

Select the Text_Texture layer and click add vector mask under the layer panel.

Change texture color

Step 1:

Continue to select the Text_Texture layer, click the Add New fill or adjust layer button at the bottom of the layer panel, and then select the color/saturation.

Step 2:

On the color phase/saturation panel, click this button to cut to this layer, select the color check box, and set the color phase value to 200 and the saturation value to 25.


Step 3:

Select the adjustment layer and change the blending mode to soft light.

Effect of adding splash water to the background

Step 1:

Select the paint tool, select a style you like in the Water Splash Brushes paint class, set the foreground color to # e8ecef, create a new layer, and put it above the Background Texture layer, rename it Splash, adjust the pen tip to your desired size, and add it to the end of the text.

Step 2

Double-click the Splash layer and add a layer style.

Select slope and relief, and set the following values

Glossy contour line: Ring

Select the remove from tooth check box

Highlight mode: Bright

Step 3:

Select a contour line and set the following values:

Contour line: semi-circle

Select the remove from tooth check box

Step 4:

Select the Splash layer and change the blending mode to bright. the fill value is 35%.

Add starlight and adjust overall coloring

Step 1:

Create a new layer, put it to the top, rename it Sparkles, and change the blending mode to bright. Select Stars and Flares Brush Set to reduce the size of the Brush and add starlight at the edge of the text. You can also adjust the angle of these Starlight brushes to achieve the perfect effect. (Window> paint)

Step 2:

Continue to select the Sparkles layer, click the Add New fill or adjust layer button under the layers panel, and then select the gradient ING.

Step 3

Fill in the gradient bar with orange, blue, purple, and yellow, and then change the blending mode of the adjustment layer to the front slice and opacity to 3%. This effect is very subtle, but it can improve the overall effect of the work.
