This tutorial mainly uses Photoshop to create a silver texture 3D 3D 3D character tutorial. Today's tutorial is a strong texture 3D font. the tutorial features clear parameters and clear processes, it is helpful for the students to familiarize themselves with the use of layer styles. it is very suitable for them to practice, and the materials have been packaged and learned directly. Tutorial material:
Plastic effect 3D three-dimensional character PS tutorial material
Let's take a look at the final effect.
For future convenience, you need to choose Edit> preset management, select a contour from the preset type drop-down menu, click the gear button on the right, select a contour, and click append, you will get more contour lines. In addition, we also need to load the default PS gradient style, select the gradient from the drop-down menu of the preset type just now, continue to click the gear button on the right, select coordination color 1, and click append.
Create background
Step 1:
Create a 900 * 675px document, set the foreground color to # 2c353c, and the background color to #191919. then click the gradient tool, select a linear gradient, and create a gradient effect from the lower left corner to the upper right corner, rename the layer name: Background.
Step 2:
Open the texture31 texture image, place it on the top of the Background layer, and change it to Background_Texture. in the blending mode, select the front slice and click Image> Adjust> de-color.
Create a font layer
Step 2:
Use the Intrepid ExtraBold font to create a fully uppercase text, color: # e5eaec, size: 230pt, font size: visual, font size: 100.
Step 2:
Copy four copies of the text layer and name it clean_copy_1 ~ 4. Then, fill all the copied text layers with 0.
Create stroke layer
Step 1:
Double-click the original text layer, select stroke in the layer style panel, and set the following values
Size: 10
Location: External
Color: # 7e7e7e
You will see the following results
Step 2:
Copy the original text layer, rename it Stroke 1, right-click the raster layer style, and change the fill to 0.
If you are using a version of CS6 or earlier, you need to create a layer Group (layer> layer Group), rename the group to Stroke1, and then click layer> merge group, and change the fill to 0.
Copy the Stroke 1 layer, rename it to Stroke 2, and place it below the original text layer.
Add a style for the stroke layer
Double-click the original text layer, and we need to add some layer styles for it.
