How to use SmartArt in PowerPoint2007

First, insert a text box into the slide and put the text you want into your SmartArt graphic into it. Next, select the text box that contains the text, click Convert to SmartArt graphic on the PowerPoint2007 Start tab, open the Drop-down list shown in Figure 2, and select the appropriate graphic (such as staggered process or segmented process).

You can also click the other SmartArt graphics command in the Drop-down list in Figure 2 to open the dialog box shown in Figure 3 to select more SmartArt graphics.
