The four-leaf grasses have completely different structural systems with a decidedly steep learning curve. For those who used to use traditional chameleon or Chimei chimera, it could be confusing.

The four-leaf grass is still in the testing phase and does not guarantee that all systems will work properly. Development is rapid and intense, and many significant changes are at any time in the code. The four-leaf grass is an ongoing goal, and looks, by design, difficult to determine almost. But recent changes are a reliable substitute for those who are not adventurous enough to learn new things.

Overview

1, download OS X Mavericks (calf) application from Mac App Store, Apple apps

2, prepare a USB flash drive for the installer

3, install OS X calf

4, install the bootstrapper and driver to the system disk

　　Step 1: Download the OS X calf

The complete operating system for people who have purchased Mac OS X Snow Leopard (Snow Leopard), Lion (Lion), or mountain Lion (mountain lion) is free to download. Use the Apple ID from the Mac App Store to download the application on any Mac or on a computer running Mac OS X10.6.8 or later.

1, open the Mac app Store

2, login with your Apple ID

3, download the OS X calf

Application Install OS X Mavericks will appear in/application.

　Step 2: Prepare the bootable USB drive

This step extracts the OS X installation content, and then installs the four-blade boot to the U disk.

1, insert the USB drive

2, open/applications/utilities/disk Utility (/Applications/utilities/disk tools)

3, on the left side of the bar to select the U disk

4, click the section tab

5, click Current and select partition 1

6, click Options ...

7, select GUID Partition table

8, Name: USB (You can rename it later)

9, Format: Select Mac OS Extensions (log)

10, click Apply, and then partition

11, open/applications/utilities/terminal (/application/utility/terminal)

12, type the following command, enter the password and press ENTER. This command will completely erase the USB and then create the local OS X installation media from the application that installs the OS X calf.

Sudo/applications/install OS X Mavericks.app/contents/resources/createinstallmedia--volume/volumes/usb-- Applicationpath/applications/install OS X Mavericks.app--no interaction

When completed, the USB will be renamed install OS X Mavericks.

13, download the latest version of four-leaf grass from SourceForge, (please http://www.7down.net/soft/6065.html)

14, open four-leaf-straw installation

15, press continue, continue, change the installation location ...

16, select USB, now called install OS X calf

17, press custom and install four-leaf grass to the same USB with the following custom installation settings:

Seventh download draw attention to: there are several different ways to set up four-leaf grass on USB. Use the traditional mode of the simplest, most reliable (5,6,7 and 8 series standard default BIOS or UEFI set gigabyte motherboard). For all other UEFI based systems, such as ASUS 7 and 8 series motherboards, the EFI partition installed to USB in Uefi boot mode is UEFI boot only.

Some changes need to be modified by default installation of Clover:

20. Navigate to/efi/clover/and replace the default config.plist with additional config.plist*

21, navigate to/efi/clover/kexts/10.9/and add Fakesmc.kext

22, navigate to/efi/clover/kexts/10.9/and add your Ethernet kext

23, navigate to/efi/clover/kexts/10.9/and add Nullcpupowermanagement.kext

24. Navigate to/efi/clover/drivers64uefi/delete Vboxhfs-64.efi and add Hfsplus.efi

25 (optional) Navigate to/efi/clover/acpi/patched/and add Dsdt.aml and Ssdt.aml

3rd Step: Install OS X calf

Unlike Unibeast, this is a 3-part installation process. The system restarts two times to complete the installation and recovery partition.

1, turn on the computer.

2, press the hot key to select the boot device

3, choose USB

If you use the USB3.0 port, the Boot Manager screen may appear and proceed to step a-b.

A, select Startup Manager

b, select the EFI USB device

4, when the four-leaf grass boot screen visible, select Boot OS X Install from OS X

5, the system will boot to OS X installation

6, for the new installation of OS X, you must clear and format the target drive before continuing according to the following steps. If you are upgrading from Snow leopard, lion, or mountain lion, you want to keep your files and applications and skip steps a-j.

A, select the disk tool

b, select your target hard drive from the calf to install the left column.

c, click the Partition tab

D, click the currently selected section 1

E, click the option ...

F, select GUID Partition table

G, Name: calf (You can rename it later)

H, Format: Select Mac OS Extensions (log)

I, click Apply, and then partition

J, turn off disk tools

7, when the installer asks you where to install, select the calf, or your existing installation.

8, when finished, the system will reboot for the 1th time

9, press the hot key to select the boot device

10, choose USB

11, when the four-leaf grass boot screen visible, select Boot OS X Install from OS X install OS X calf

The system will boot into the new drive, create the recovery partition, and complete the installation. When finished, the system restarts a second time.

12, press the hot key to select the boot device

13, when the four-leaf grass boot screen visible, select the calf

14, the system will launch OS X settings

4th Step: After installation

At this point, the easiest way to do this is to install the bootstrapper from the root of your USB drive, crawl the backup, and copy the files that work directly on the EFI partition on the system hard disk. In any case, make the installed system 100% fit for you, and it must be done on a per-individual basis. Not a single four-leaf grass setting will work well in every system. For optimal compatibility, it is recommended that the EFI partition be reformatted to FAT32 instead of the default HFS.

1, open/application/Utilities/terminals

2, type: Diskutil list, find the EFI partition for your system drive. is the following identifier. Please be sure to use the correct. (In this case: DISK0S1)

3, type the following command, enter the password and press ENTER:

sudo newfs_msdos-v efi-f 32/dev/rdisk0s1

4, download the latest version of the four-leaf grass

5, install four clover to calf with the following custom settings:

(Custom Installation: Uefi system)

(Custom Installation: BIOS system)

These settings automatically install the EFI partition of the bootstrapper to the system drive as part of the script. When finished, the EFI partition for the system drive will be installed automatically.

6, navigate to/volumes/efi/efi/clover/and edit config.plist

7, navigate to/volumes/efi/efi/clover/kexts/10.9/and add Fakesmc.kext

8, navigate to/volumes/efi/efi/clover/kexts/10.9/and add Ethernet kext

9 (optional) Navigate to/volume/efi/efi/clover/acpi/patched/add Dsdt.aml and Ssdt.aml
