This article describes how to use the localtime () method in Python. It is the basic knowledge for getting started with Python. If you need it, refer to the localtime () method similar to the gmtime () method, however, it converts the number of seconds to the local time. If the second or None is not set, the current time returned uses the time () method. When the dst flag is set to 1, timeout is applicable to the given time.
Syntax
The syntax of the localtime () method is as follows:
Time. localtime ([sec])
Parameters
- Sec -- this is represented by converting the number of seconds to the struct_time structure.
Return Value
This method does not return any value.
Example
The following example shows how to use the localtime () method.
#! /Usr/bin/pythonimport timeprint "time. localtime (): % s" % time. localtime ()
When we run the above program, it will produce the following results:
Time. localtime (): (2009, 2, 17, 17, 3, 38, 1, 48, 0)
