How to Use peercast to publish and listen to radio stations

How to broadcast MP3 in Real Time:
Required Software: peercast + Winamp + shoutcastdsp

1. Install peercast (http://www.peercast.org/download.php)
2. Install Winamp
3. Install shoutcastdsp
4. Open peercast
5. Configure shoutcastdsp. In Winamp, click Options> parameters. On the left side of the parameter panel, select the DSP sound in the plug-in. You can see Nullsoft SHOUTcast source DSP on the right side, and double-click the ShoutCast window. Enter localhost in address in ouput, port 7144 (same as peercast), and password in password field in peercast (initially blank ). In the yellowpages option, you can set information about your own station.
6. Use Winamp to play the MP3 file you want to play, and click Connect in ShoutCast.
7. If the connection is successful, peercast will display your broadcast station in the relay window.
8.yp.peercast.org will automatically include your radio address.

How to listen:
1. Install peercast
2. Click yp.peercast.org.
3. Select the radio station you want to listen to, or search by keyword in the upper right corner.
4. Click play. peercast will automatically call the default player for playback.
