How to use Qualcomm Qpst download

QPST Download

Download the motherboard for the first time with Qpst

1 connect the motherboard to the PC via a USB cable.

2 Power the motherboard power supply, and monitor the current, if the power when the current is too large (more than 200mA), please timely power off.

3 do the following on Ubuntu, Devices->usb devicec->qhsusb_dload

3 Open the Qpst configuration software to do the following

Click Add New Port and the following screen appears

Click Com4-usb/qc Diagnostic. OK to confirm the connection.

Then open Qpst Soft Download

In the top left corner, click Options->settings to set the following

In ARMPRG to use Select msm7627a (NAND Flash) as shown below,

Click OK to confirm. Back to the main interface.

Click Qpst Download Multi-image, please note: The first download must check the use Emerg.

Please select Multi ima1.0,

Image folder to select the desired destination folders for the download,

After clicking on the SPC, advanced looks like this:

Please note when selecting a file:

Do not tick the PRI Boot Loader,

Need to add AMSS apps BootLdr Header,amss apps Boot Loader.

Where AMSS apps BootLdr Header,amss apps Boot Loader. A directory that needs to be copied to and from a directory compiled by the AP

The following interface is selected :

Note that each download must be selected in this step.

Click OK to return to the main interface as follows:

Note that the first download must be checked with the use Emerg. Host d/l.

Click Start to start the download

Note: When the file is complete, you need to click on the USB in the lower right corner to connect the high-pass device for later download. Wait for the full download to complete, as shown below:

After completion, you can choose to download the AP's boot.img and system.img to Nandflash to complete the system startup.

Second Download

When you have BP in your nandflash and want to re-download it, here's how:

Connect the power supply and connect the motherboard to the PC, open the Qpst down software, the interface is as follows

Click Browse at the back of port to see the following screen:

Click OK, the interface is as follows:

Click Multi-image,

Remove use Emerg. Check for Host d/l.

And then remove the Autobackup/restore,

Note that the use Emerg must not be checked for the second download. Host d/l.

Note that you must click Advanced to select the file each time.

After clicking on the SPC, advanced looks like this:

When selecting a file please note: Do not tick the PRI boot Loader and need to add AMSS apps BootLdr Header,amss apps Boot Loader. The following interface is selected:

Select the BP file you want to download in the image folder

Start to download

Since there is already data in Flash, the following interface will appear,

You need Devices->usb Devices->qualcomm, the software will automatically switch to download mode,

Click Start to start the download until the following interface appears:

Again, you need to switch your phone to a virtual machine Devices->usb Devices->qualcomm

Click on Star T to see the following screen:

Again, you need to switch your phone to a virtual machine Devices->usb Devices->qualcomm

The following interface appears and the download is complete:
