How to use remote log mail server

Remote Log mail server (cmailserver) is one of the most easy-to-use mail server software, the software with short precision welding, full-featured, simple to set up a well-known.

The post start interface is shown in Figure 1. Here's an introduction to using Cmailserver to build an internet-based mail server for your readers.

First, the necessary conditions:

1. The host of the mail server must have a static IP address that is permanently connected to the Internet;

2. There is a standard international domain name;

3. Operating system: win98/2000/nt/xp/2003;

4. If you are using a CMailServer5.0 version, install Access 2000 and above on the server.

Ii. Add mail Exchange (MX) records

Add MX records you can contact the domain name provider and let him do it for you. For example, the domain name of the unit is sqmlzx.net, it is provided by www.dns110.com, and it is managed by oneself through the Web page manually. 1. Add one host, host name: Mail,ip address: 211.90.191.104. As shown in Figure 2.

2. Increase mail exchange records, host name: Not fill, priority: 10, corresponding mail host name: Mail, set well, as shown in Figure 3.

3. After the completion of the mailbox will be the @sqmlzx.net domain name suffix, the domain name provided in the setting 24 hours after the entry into force.

Third, installation and setup

Cmailserver is easy to install under Win2000 Server, and all of them are selected by default. It is to be recalled that the demo version can only be built with 5 users.

After installing the software, run Cmailserver, click "tools → server Settings", select "as Internet Mail Server", in the mailbox Domain name setting, select "Single Domain Name", fill in the previous step has set up the mail exchange record domain name "sqmlzx.net", as shown in Figure 4.
