The use of Ghost backup operating system, in fact, the operating system is the partition to make image files, the following actions. After installing the operating system, drivers, and common software, users can make a backup of the system to quickly recover the system if needed.
Step 1: Start Ghost, select the "local" > "Partition" > "Toimage" menu and start the Ghost operation interface for the partition image file, as shown in Figure 1.
Step 2: Select the hard disk on which the system resides, click on the "0K" Eucalyptus button to open the Select Backup partition interface, as shown in Figure 2.
Step 3: Select the partition you want to back up, because you are backing up the XP operating system, you need to select the C partition (1Primary), click the "0K" button (see Figure 3), and open the interface for the save path to the settings image file.
Step 4: In the "Lookin" drop-down list box, select the storage image file (that is, the partition for the backup file > (all partitions outside the C partition can), enter the name of the image file in the "Filename" box, and click the "Save" button, as shown in Figure 4.
Step 5: A prompt dialog box asks if you want to compress the file, and in this case click the High button (indicating that you are using height compression), as shown in Figure 5. Clicking the No button means no compression, and clicking the Fast button indicates rapid compression.
Step 6: A dialog box prompts you to create the hard disk image file, and click the Yes button, as shown in Figure 6.
Step 7: The file is being backed up, as shown in Figure 7. After the backup is complete, click the "Continue" button in the prompt dialog box shown in Figure 8, return to the Ghost Action main interface, and then click the "Quit" option to reboot the system.
