First look at the effect:
What is a channel mixer and how it works.
This small adjustment, as indicated by its name, corresponds to the image of the channel. Most of the time work on the RGB color space, this channel is red, green, and blue, and you can see if you click the channel layer in this tab or from the palette window> channel.
You can see that only one gray scale of each channel represents the color of the original image, but if you open each channel, you will find that the same color has different brightness.
For example, you can see that many of the skin color models have brighter red channels than on blue channels. This is because the skin color has a lot of red tones or they make them "Photograph" more in the red channel. The skin on the blue channel is darker, because there is only a small amount of blue skin.
When a channel mixer blends these pieces, it cannot be an image of the actual color, but it is a mixture of these channels and their brightness gray values.
For each output channel 3, the slider works like red, green, and blue: let the Blue output channel, if you choose it, you will see, the slider is 100% blue and red and green is 0%. This indicates the default status in the blue gray scale, that is, it has been modified.
If you change these three types of slider now, the blue and yellow will be added or removed because the settings output to the blue and yellow of the blue channel are relative to the RGB color space. So if you move the slider and positive values, you will add more blue values if you send them to you to remove the blue and yellow values.
The two slide blocks on the blue-colored image can be restored. To view all the images, make sure that the three slide at the bottom of the total are three slide at the sum of 100%.
You can add 50% or 50% to red to green or 25%. Try to use 50% as the red sum.
The reason for this color tone is RED, because the added positive value (also because blue is still in a blue output channel RED) is the main skin tone. As you can see, vegetation is not seriously affected, increasing by 50%. See what will happen if you add the blue of 50% now.
Because they are added with 50% blue, they now look a bit darker and have blue tones. Images of other colors are also affected, but far smaller than vegetables. Please note that it is always in a more complex way to adjust the color balance by 100%.
You will also find that the slider constant, which you can control, is called the overall image of "offset": adding values blue and negative values yellow.
In this way, the channel mixer adjusts the photographic technology of the work. The principle is the same only for the blue-violet output channel, and the only difference is that the color increases or decreases with when moving the slider.
