How to use the Windows documentation on your Linux desktop

One, hook up the section of "My Documents"

If you need to use My documents frequently, and want to load the section of My Documents as soon as you enter Linux, and you want to hook up the Z section to a fixed directory, you can use the automatic hook method. First in the Linux/mnt directory to create a subdirectory g (author of the "My Documents" folder in Windows in G disk, if your other partitions can, and so on, directory name can be customized), and then use any text editor to play/ect directory fstab files, put "/dev/hda8/mnt/g vfat defaults,iocharset=cp936 0 0" is added after the following line and exits after saving. The G-disk is automatically hooked up to the/mnt/g directory each time you restart Linux.

Second, the establishment of "My Documents" shortcut

In the KDE3.0 desktop, there are two ways to create a shortcut to My Documents. The first option is to enter the folder that corresponds to the section of My Documents, drag the "My Documents" folder icon to the desktop, and then select "Link Here" in the right-click menu. The second option is to right-click on the desktop, select location (URL) Link from the menu, open the Kdesktop dialog box, enter the path that My Documents is held in Linux in the new to location (URL) text box, or the File browsing window to "my Documents icon to drag directly into the text box and then "OK". If you want, you can rename the shortcut to "My Documents." The difference between the two approaches is that the folder icon produced by the previous method is presented with a small arrow. The latter method produces a picture of a piece of paper, more ugly, we can right-click on it, through the "Properties" dialog box to choose a beautiful icon for it.
