How to use the WPS template well

1. Copycat two types of templates let me choose

As a major advantage of Microsoft Office, Jinshan WPS is a template of its rich localization characteristics. After the WPS text is started, the Docer Hull home page appears first, providing an "online template" (Figure 1). These templates are provided in categories and are available to countless people and are dynamically updated at all times. In addition to looking for a template from a category directory, we can search the template by keyword in the top right-hand corner of the search box.

For the document template labeled "Rice" To download ("Rice" is the virtual currency unit of WPS), you need to login to WPS account and pay the corresponding "meter" to download the use. In addition to the online template, the WPS system also provides a practical template locally. Click the "+" button on the tab bar (or press CTRL + N shortcut key), pull out a blank page, this is actually a simple document template, it has already set the page's paper size, margins, text attributes and so on. In addition, switch to the daily life tab in the Template window that is activated by the system's "files → templates in this machine" menu, and you can create a corresponding style document by applying one of the two templates (Figure 3), "Print on paper" and "notes".

Small tips:

If you frequently use a system-supplied template to establish a document, select the Set as Default template check box when you select the template. After that, you can quickly call the template by selecting "Create New from Default Template" by using the small arrow after the "+" button on the WPS page tab bar (Figure 4).

2. Personal customization once made several times

It's not personalized to always apply someone else's template. In addition, there is a copyright risk if you arbitrarily apply other people's business templates. Therefore, when necessary, you can customize the layout of your personal favorite as a template standby.

To customize a personal template, you must first design a document style in a regular way. Open the sample document to remove or replace the variable content (such as body content or title) with the input hint content and retain the fixed elements; then click on the WPS Text system menu and select "Save as →wps text template file (*.wpt)" (Figure 5).

Small tips:

If you want to share with a friend who is using word, or you might be using the template in a word environment, choose to save the template file as a Word template file (*.dot) format when you save as a template file.

Knowing where the template is stored facilitates a one-time backup of the template. Open a document randomly in WPS, click Save As, document format Select WPS Text Template, and then right-click any of the template files and choose Properties, and after location under the General tab, the template's storage path is automatically displayed (Figure 6). As with normal document permission settings, permissions for template documents can also be set to open or edit permissions (or both). Click on the "Upload Works" button, enter the upload Document page, according to the size and format of the upload document, upload not more than 10MB template (Figure 8).
