Win7 Remote Desktop control needs to set up two networked computers, as follows:
On the connected computer settings:
First, right click on the computer icon, select Properties, click Remote Settings in the Open System window, and select "Allow computer connections to run any version of Remote Desktop" in the Remote Options window in the System properties that pops up.
Second, enter the "Control Panel" to select "User account and Home security", to the computer needs to be logged in to set the account password. Note: The computer that is logged on will need to set the account password before it can be connected via Remote Desktop.
Third, click on the "User account" option, enter the "User account" option, click the "Create password for your account" option, in the Prompt box to enter the password you want to use, click the "Create Password" button.
Settings on another networked computer:
First, on the other computer, click the Start icon in the lower left corner, enter the command "MSTSC" in the Search box, and click Open. In the pop-up dialog box, enter the IP address of the computer you want to connect to, and then click Connect.
Second, click on the connection, and will pop up a window, then enter just set the account password, click "OK". When you are sure, your computer displays a desktop on another computer, and Remote Desktop Connection is successful.
