How to Use xcode to power off a CPU Core

Currently, Apple's MacBook laptop uses an Intel dual-core CPU processor, but generally Internet chat does not use such powerful computing power. dual-core CPU can only be switched to power consumption. The following describes how to use xcode to power down a CPU core of an Intel dual-core processor on an Apple Computer.
1: Install xcode, which is located in "Optional instils"-> "xcode Tools" on the installation disc ".
2. After installation, enter the folder/system/library/coreservices/menu extras
3: Find CPU. menu and double-click to run it.
4: In the top taskbar, you will see
5: Click it and the option appears.

 

Select "single CPU", OK, your Apple Computer only has one CPU processor core at work, power saving and cooling, can prolong the battery time.
