1. Click to select the clip art that you want to edit, switch to the Picture Tools-Format tab, click Picture border in the Picture Style feature sheet, select dashed-Other lines in the pop-up Drop-down list, and first customize the border line type.
2. In the pop-up dialog box, in the Line Style tab, set the line end type to dot.
3. In the Line Style tab, set width to 8 points, and compound type to from thin to thick. The line end type and join type are set to circle, and when you are finished, click Close.
4. Set the border color. Still on the Picture Tools-Format tab, in the Picture Styles feature sheet, click Picture Borders, and then click More Outline colors in the Drop-down list that pops up.
5. Switch to the Custom tab in the pop-up dialog box to set the color and color depth and transparency, and then click OK when you are finished setting.
6. This is the clip art frame that we have set up, a pink round bead border. You can explore the type and effect of borders in practice and make appropriate decorative borders.
Note: The border is best to set a little thicker, the border color best with clip art color difference, the effect is more fully reflected.
