How Word 2013 preserves numbering when you paste text with "Keep Text Only"

In the Word2013 document, the user can set the Paste option to determine whether to keep bullets and numbering when pasting text using the Retain Text Only option, as described in the following ways:

Step 1th, open the Word2013 document window, and click the file → options button, as shown in Figure 2013072403.

Step 2nd, open the Word Options dialog box and switch to the Advanced tab. In the cut, copy, and paste area, select the Keep bullets and numbering when pasting text using the Keep Text Only option check box, and click OK, as shown in Figure 2013072404.
