Note:The ID of the slot depends on the platform. On low-level platforms, the slot ID only contains the slot ID. In all other platforms (including Superdome), the slot ID format is:Cabinet #-Bay #-Chassis #-Slot #
The slot number of Lan1 is:0-1-3-11
That is, Cabinet is 0, and Bay # is 1.,IOChasis 3 slot 11 Location (in fact, it is enough to know IOClasis)
Open the SuperDome front door (one side of the power cord is a backdoor). The IOChasis mark is usually displayed on the IO cage. Find IOChasis3 and slot 11.
TIPS: You can use olrad-I ATTN <solt ID> to flash the corresponding solt alarm light.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Olrad commands provide online addition, replacement, and deletion of I/0 cards
The olrad command will execute the system's key resource analysis (CRA) before executing any OL * job to ensure that the system will not remain in an inconsistent state after it is added, replaced, or deleted.
Common parameters:
-Q displays the status of all slots in the system that may use OL *. Slots with the same bus ID are considered as public slots.
-I flag slot ID control pay attention to the LED status. The valid values of this flag option are ATTN and OFF. Note that the LEDs in the corresponding slot are set to the appropriate status based on the flag value. ATTN will convert the LED to flash. Flag is case insensitive
-The C slot ID executes CRA on the specified slot ID and displays the result. This checks all key resources related to the affected hardware path of the specified slot. It analyzes the file system, capacity, processing programs, network jobs, replace (swap) and dump, and generates reports of affected resources.
--------- Instance 1: Determine the slot status -------------
# Olrad-q
--------- Example 2: Run CRA -------------
# Olrad-C slot ID
CRA severity boarding
1. CRA returnSUCCESS is not in use for affected resources
2. CRA returnWARNINGS is being used by resources on affected devices, but are not considered as critical resources.
3. data may be lost when CRA returnDATA_CRITICAL executes the job. Therefore, please proceed after consideration.
4. the CRA returnSYS_CRITICAL job may cause the system to shut down
5. CRA return ERROR: an internal cra error occurs.
--------- How to add a new card ---
1. Complete the preparation
# Olrad-q
# Olrad-C slot id
2. Prepare to add
# Olrad-a slot ID // perform CRA check, stop the driver, and turn off the power of the card
3. Install the card in the slot
4. Enter the command
# Olrad-A slot id // slot power-on and re-load the relevant driver
5. Check whether the verification is successful
# Olrad-q slot id
---------- Replacing bad cards -----------
1. Complete the preparation
# Olrad-q
# Olrad-C slot id
2. Prepare for replacement
# Olrad-r slot id
3. Replace the card (note: the new card and old card must use the same driver)
4. Enter the command
# Olrad-R slot id
5. verify whether the job is successful
# Olrad-q
---------- Delete a card ---------------
1. Complete the preparation
# Olrad-q
# Olrad-C slot id
2. Prepare to delete
# Olrad-d slot id // Delete the card. First, perform CRA detection, delete the driver instance, and turn off the power.
3. Remove a card
4. Enter the command
# Olrad-D slot id // Delete the card, which is usually used after the olrad command to delete the card
5. Verification
