Start apache and view the process before installation.

ExtractPackage:

Create storage directory
Mkdir-P/usr/local/awstats
MvAwstats-7.0/*/usr/local/awstats

Check whether the system has installed perl.
 WhereisPerl
Perl:/usr/bin/perl/usr/share/man/man1/perl.1.gz

Compile awstats:
Perl awstats_configure.pl

This tool will help you to configure AWStats to analyze statistics
One web server. You canTrY to use it to let it do all that is possible
