Hyper-V Server R2 Enhanced session Mode

Starting with Windows Server R2, virtual machines in Hyper-V by using Hyper-V enhanced session mode allow redirection of local resources in virtual machine connection sessions. This is because Windows Server 2012 and earlier Hyper-V virtual machine connections are just a bitmap interface for the emulated graphics card and a simulated mouse keyboard, so that much of the operation and control is limited. There were a lot of people in the forum who were talking about why Hyper-V can't copy and paste files between the host and guest system like VMware, in fact, not even copy, paste the text is not, the majority of the explanation is Microsoft for security to do this, in fact, this is only a reason, Another reason is that the emulation bitmap interface does not implement these functions.
However, starting with Windows Server R2, Hyper-V virtual machine connections no longer use emulated graphics cards, mice, keyboards to control guest virtual machines. Instead, hyper-V virtual machine connections fully provide the power of Remote Desktop Connection (RDC). As shown in the following:
Figure one: Before the enhanced session mode is enabled:

Figure two: After enabling enhanced session mode:
Hyper-V Virtual Machine Connection enhanced session mode connecting to a guest system now uses RDS.

When a virtual machine is connected by using enhanced session mode, the following local resources can be redirected:
1, use the shear plate.
2. Direct the sound card on the virtual machine to the host host.
3, the virtual machine uses the host host's smart cards card.
4, the virtual machine uses the host host's USB interface.
5. Use the host's printer.
6. Support Plug and Play device.
7. Use the host host's drive.
These features, Hyper-V virtual machine connections can be implemented without a network in the guest system, but you cannot remotely implement it with Hyper-V Manager and PowerShell.
Speaking of which, you might say, since the enhanced session mode feature is so good, how do I configure Hyper-V virtual Machine Connection enhanced session mode? Here's how to configure the enhanced session mode for everyone, with the following steps:
Note: Using enhanced session mode requires that the guest operating system of the virtual machine is at least Windows 8.1 or Windows Server R2 and later.
1. Open Hyper-V Manager-hyper-v settings:

2. Click "Enhance session Mode"-tick "allow enhanced drawing mode":

3. Then restart the virtual machine:
Click "Show" here to adjust the virtual machine resolution:

Click on local resources to configure remote audio settings and local resource settings:

4. After you log on to the virtual machine and open the Resource manager, you can see that our virtual machines can already mobilize the resources of the Hyper-V host:

These features are turned off by default on server Hyper-V, and on client Hyper-V.
