My notebook is ThinkPad R61i, Pentium Dual core 1.73,1g memory, built-in 120G hard drive, BIOS can be set USB-HDD boot.
My mobile hard drive is Hitachi's Neso 160G.
The following is my neso on the installation of FEDORA11 process, I hope to have reference value for everyone:
1. Use Pqmagic to Neso the beginning of the 10G into FAT32 format, specify a letter H (also can specify other letter), the Neso will be 80G to the NTFS format (this partition will be used as a mobile storage function), the remaining 70G space is not allocated reserved for FEDORA11
2. Download grubinst-1.1-bin-w32-2007-12-29, Grub4dos-0.4.3-2008-05-02.zip and WinImage of these three software. Use Grubinst_gui.exe (this is a software in grubinst-1.1-bin-w32) to install grub on H disk, copy grub4dos under GRLDR and menu.lst to H disk, copy Fedora-11-i386-dvd.iso to H Disk
Use WinImage to extract Vmlinuz and initrd.img from the Isolinux folder in Fedora-11-i386-dvd.iso and copy to H disk. Extract the entire Images folder from the Fedora-11-i386-dvd.iso and copy it to H disk.
Open the menu.lst with the editing software and add it at the end

3. Reboot system, BIOS setup USB disk boot
Select Hard Drive Installation
Select/DEV/SDB1 and fill in "/images/install.img" at "Direcotry Holding image"
The next step to note is to select the hard disk is not selected as a built-in hard disk, you can choose to install the FEDORA11 in free hard disk space, and the rest of the installation of the same way as the CD.

After the installation, after a trial period of time, I will my neso to a friend of the ThinkPad T400, the BIOS changed to USB boot, the same can start Fedora11, after normal use.
