When I installed the application software, most of the functions were fine, but there was a slight problem with the sound.
Our program uses the OSS audio card driver. We can play the sound in two ways: transfer the sound name from the external network to the local, and then match the corresponding audio file content locally, then, write the sound file to the sound card to generate a voice. The second method is to call the voice program directly on a graphical interface made by local QT. The two methods are to call the same system function to drive the voice through the audio card. There is no problem with the previous one, so there is no sound in the second one.
I am not very familiar with FEDORA14. I think the problem may be caused by the operating system, because the sound is normal under FEDORA6.
