I am the first time oh ... Cost me an all-nighter, failed four times, the final installation success only to find that the original is their own carelessness, offering, just installed Apache will come up to the successful installation of the process written down ... This article is dedicated to the Super rookie who was in touch with Linux like me, ^_^
I installed redhat6.2, FTP and HTTP and database are not installed, basically just installed XFree86.
Preparatory work:
Run Lynx download apache-2.0.44.tar.gz at the command line
#cd/USR/LOCAL/SRC
#lynx http://www.apache.org/dist/httpd/httpd-2.0.44.tar.gz
Save as/usr/local/src/httpd-2.0.44.tar.gz after download, press ' q ' and answer Y to exit Lynx
To start the installation:
#cd/USR/LOCAL/SRC
#tar ZXVF httpd-2.0.44.tar.gz
#cd/usr/local/src/httpd-2.0.44
#./configure--prefix=/usr/local/servers/apache2
(Description:--prefix=/usr/local/servers/apache2 This option is your own set of Apache installation destination directory)
Wait, wait. , configuration is done
#make
This make seems to have been waiting for n years ... Bitter.
#make Install
Simple configuration:
#cd/usr/local/servers/apache2/conf
#vi httpd.conf
Edit httpd.conf, press the INSERT key on the keyboard, page, find #servername xxxxx:80, the ServerName before the #, the xxxxx to the full name of their machine, as I changed to ServerName pig.home.cn And the key is to change group #-1 to group nobody, and if you miss it, Apache won't start. Finally press the ESC key and enter: Wq Enter to save the VI editor.
To start Apache:
#cd/usr/local/servers/apache2/bin
#./apachectl start
Test if Apache is working, the exciting moment is up, command line input:
#lynx http://localhost
Wow, I really see the homepage, yes ~ ~ ~
Blackout during the day ... Java, JSP, and PHP can only be installed at night. Sigh
Forget to say, stop Apache is
#cd/usr/local/servers/apache2/bin
#./apachectl stop
