I have some tips for batch renaming.

Many people usually use ACDSee or Total Commander to modify the extension. However, today I want to introduce a good software for batch renaming-Better File Rename (hereinafter referred to as BFR ), it is an extended shell of "Resource Manager" and supports multiple parameters. It helps us to quickly and easily modify the file name and file modification time. It can process the file name and extension respectively. It also supports batch renaming of directories and subdirectories.

For example, all the photos downloaded from a digital camera are saved under D: my picture. Due to the short schedule, every time you download a photo, you can create a folder or create a folder (2) "... to "img1, img2... "and so on, now we use BFR to" batch rename "for convenient viewing.

Step 1: Set the change Scope

　　Select D: my picture, right-click, and select BTF. The program running interface is displayed. Select "Change complete file name" for "operation" (only file extension can be changed here ), select "directory" and "subdirectory and its content ".

Step 2: Set the rename Option

　　Click the drop-down arrow at the top of the parameter. Do not release the left button. A list (1) is displayed in the program ), here, you can select "insert", "delete vowel letters", "replace specific characters", and "rearrange existing alphabetic order. Select "Replace at the beginning", replace with "new folder", replace with "my family" (2), each time you select a project, there will be an example below the program for your reference. Click OK to rename all the folders under my picture.

Tips

　　Before confirming the operation, we strongly recommend that you click the "save file list" button below to back up the list of original file names as a reference.

BTF is displayed at the top layer after running. To view the modified result more intuitively, you can open the same folder in two windows, in this way, you can click the "OK" button of BTF to quickly switch to the window to see the result.

Step 3: change names in batches

　　Same as above. Select the "My One" folder and set "Operation> change complete file name", "file", "subdirectory and content" in sequence ", parameter → "delete at the beginning" and "delete at the beginning ".

Of course, here I just give a simple example. For other parameter settings, refer to the above method and compare the final results. 3 is the effect of modifying folders in batches, and 4 is the effect of modifying files in batches.
