We don't care about the speed problem first. During the entire installation process, there are too few custom things and almost nothing can be customized. Only simple partitions are allowed. Select and install services from a dozen services. That's all. Think about CentOS installation, you can customize the degree of each software package. Well, Ubuntu users must say: "We don't need to be so customized ". Also, Ubuntu pursues simplicity.

After the installation, it was not started for the first time and had to be restarted. Oh, there are few things. All installed services must be described as nano. But why isn't it faster to start so few things? Pretty dizzy. Compared with RedHat and CentOS, the Ubuntu Linux release is like a toy.

Ubuntu8.04 was released. I downloaded the Desktop version and continued to install it in VMWare. Haha. User-Defined things are much less than those of Server. Except partition (auto-sharding by default), write host name, and write user name and password. The installation speed cannot be too fast. After the installation is complete, restart the system to make sure that everything is normal. Dizzy, I remember that I chose Chinese. I remember that the entire installation process was also Chinese. Why is the interface English after Gnome? A closer look, the cultural level is relatively low. In Gnome on CentOS, almost no English can be seen. Really dizzy!

Come here first. If Ubuntu users see this, some of them will be dismissive to me, and others will be scolded. It doesn't matter. Maybe Ubuntu is a good Desktop version. After all, it is the most used in Desktop Linux. However, it may not be suitable for servers (Server and Desktop). Of course, you can also create an informal Server for rapid deployment.
